Jeff Halevy is the CEO of HLVY Group and a fifteen-year veteran of the health, medical, and fitness industries. His career has spanned health club ownership and development, medical and fitness industry consulting from content creation to risk management, television, and public health advocacy. — as well as bringing his message to households globally through his own internationally syndicated TV show “Workout From Within with Jeff Halevy,” which currently airs in over 30 countries, as well as on NBC’s “Today Show,” where he served as its fitness correspondent.
Jeff is considered a thought leader and innovator in the fitness industry, which has earned him distinction in the mainstream media, with features by CNBC, Fox, Forbes, Inc. Magazine, and Women’s Health — to name a few — as well as trade publications like Club Solutions.
Jeff has also earned distinction by being handpicked to join Michelle Obama’s childhood obesity campaign, “Let’s Move!” for which he created the most demonstrably effective technology-based program.
While much of Jeff’s time is currently spent less so on the gym floor, in favor of his company’s offices, Jeff cut his teeth as a highly sought after celebrity personal trainer in NYC, with clients ranging from Hollywood royalty to Wall Street royalty, and quite literally the Royal Family.
Jeff’s passion for helping others achieve their health, performance and aesthetic goals through a scientifically sound fitness regimen led to work with

- athletes like Tiki Barber and Jimmie Johnson,
- business titans that include Frank McCourt and Joseph Edelman,

And even with time devoted to entrepreneurship and his television career, Jeff Halevy still finds time to work with a very small and exclusive roster of clients as a Personal Health Director, Executive Coach, and Trainer.
Jeff currently helms HLVY Group, which includes luxury gym Halevy Life; gym design and management firm, HealthLuxe; health and fitness content creation consulting firm Platform Partners; media and talent outfit Jeff Halevy LLC; and FitSafe, which provides risk management consulting to the Sports & Fitness sector.
Dan Cerone is the Director of Programming at Halevy Life.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Human Performance, which were both completed at Ithaca College. In addition, Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), earned a PRC from the Postural Restoration Institute, and is a Functional Range Conditioning FRCms, Functional Movement Screen Specialist (FMS), and Kinstretch Instructor.
Prior to joining the team at Halevy Life, Dan completed a coaching internship at one of the country’s premiere strength and conditioning facilities where he worked with a wide variety of athletes, but mainly professional and collegiate hockey players. More recently, Dan worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Ithaca College where he programmed and worked with numerous varsity teams.
Dan is a competitive powerlifter who has placed first in multiple competitions.
Director of Physical Therapy
Dr. Charlie Weingroff is the Director of Physical Therapy at Halevy Life.
Charlie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He was most recently the Director of Physical Performance and Resiliency and Lead Physical Therapist for the United States Marines Corps Special Operations Command in Camp Lejeune, NC.
Through rehabbing patients, he subscribes to a movement-based approach popularized by the works of Dr. Vladimir Janda, Dr. Shirley Sahrmann, Dr. Stuart McGill, and Gray Cook. In training athletes and clients, he champions the principles of the Functional Movement Screen and sound, evidence-based training principles. Some of the methodologies Charlie is formally trained in include DNS, ART, Dry Needling, Graston, FMS/SFMA, and the RKC.
Charlie also served as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainer for the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers. Among the highlights of his tenure in Philadelphia was being part of the medical staff that ranked 1st in the NBA in Player Missed Games.
Aside from working with patients, athletes and clients, he is also under the bar himself. In 2007, he achieved AAPF Elite status in the 220 weight class with a total of 1915 pounds. His best powerlifting competition total is 800 squat, 510 bench press and 605 deadlift.
Ross Curtis is a Senior Staff Coach and Weightlifting Program Director at Halevy Life.
Ross holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, both of which were earned at University of Northern Iowa. Ross is not only an accomplished athlete in weightlifting (Olympic Lifts), track and field, and football — but also a highly qualified coach, holding Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting (USAW) and ClinicalAthlete Weightlifting Coach (CWC) certifications, and has further earned a PRC from the Postural Restoration Institute.
Jeremy Lau is a Senior Staff Coach and Metabolic Lab Manager at Halevy Life.
Jeremy graduated cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BSc. in Biomedical Engineering and received his Master’s in Exercise Physiology at Columbia University. In addition to his academic accolades, Jeremy is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and earned a PRC from the Postural Restoration Institute.
Prior to joining the team at Halevy Life, Jeremy completed a coaching internship at Cressey Sports Performance, where he coached both amateur and professional athletes, among whom were many professional MLB baseball players.
As an athlete, Jeremy has played baseball competitively for most of his life.
Head Physical Therapist Dr. Bo Babenko, DPT
Dr. Bo Babenko, DPT is the Head Physical Therapist at Halevy Life.
A native New Yorker, Bo started his career working as an EMT, athletic trainer (ATC), and strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He has continued the pursuit of clinical excellence, focusing on orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Prior to joining Halevy Life, Bo worked in Dubai’s functional fitness world helping to raise the bar of human performance.
A former triathlete, Division I college football player, and currently competing in Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit, Bo pushes his body to the limits to better understand how to optimize his clients and patients recovery. Bo utilizes a holistic approach (i.e.sleep, nutrition, etc.) combined with a evidence-based manual therapy techniques to address the pain, limitations, and setbacks he treats.
